Hi

I have added my google pub number to my profile and the channel number, but I am not sure I added the correct channel number. I saw Adam's articles about channel and pub numbers, but I am still not sure I did this correctly.

When I get the channel number, should I get the channel number for wwww.speakaboutit.com or should I get the channel number for my speakaboutit profile page?

Also, when I right click on my ads and choose property, I don't see my pub number, I see someone else's number. When will my number show?

You only need a channel ID if you plan on tracking many different sites. If this is the only site you use adsense on, you don't need a channel.

Otherwise, channels are made by you. Take another look at the tutorial for making a channel. You can name the channel whatever you like.

Actually I am using other sites with my pub number, that's why I wanted to track this site separately. I have made a channel id and posted it on my profile by following your directions on the tutorial, but I am still not sure if the ads are going through.
