We all know something, whether it is our hobbies, the things we have learned at work, the things we remember from school, or even our own opinions on life. We all know something and have something we can share. Now you can make money sharing what you know with others.
You can make money writing articles, blog posts, blurbs, reviews, and other what have yous. Whether you are looking for something to add to your entertainment budget, help meet the needs of your family, or work your way into a full time income you can do it while writing in the comfort of your home.
You have a lot of different programs you can choose from, or you can work with all of them. Most of them work on revenue sharing methods and you make only a little bit of money at a time. However, little bits do grow into a nice sums of money. I haven't yet tried all of the programs I have heard about and I am sure there are some that I haven't even heard about yet. This is a great place to start though. All of these sites are good ones.
Speak About It -Here you are, reading this article on Speak About It. Speak About It is very new, but has grown very quickly since it started. Here they rotate Google Adsense ads between their own and the authors. You make money as people click on the ads shown around your article. The more traffic you can drive to your articles the more likely there will be clicks, the more money you will make.
Associated Content -Associated Content works completely different. They let you submit your content for upfront payment. If it is excepted you will be paid $3-20. In addition to this you are given performance pay (even for most articles that aren't excepted for upfront payment). Performance pay is $1.50 for every 1000 page views all of your articles receive.
Helium -Helium is a little different. There are topics and sub-topics on Helium which you can browse. Then you can select a title you know information on. You have to write an article that is 350 words or more. How you get paid isn't revealed, however it is according to your articles performance.
Triond -Triond offers a different option. Here you publish your work and they find a suitable place for it. You make a share of the revenue that that site makes from your article. You don't know what percent that is and it seems to be a little different depending on the site that your work ends up published on. However, this is a great option for many writers, especially if you are publishing the same article on several sites.
Hubpages -Hubpages offers you a great oppertunity for a lot of fun. Not only do you get to write an article here you can also build a page. You can add pictures, links, alternative text blocks, and other items to your page. You can pick out where you want these blocks to go and how you want them to be arranged on your page. You get sixty percent of the page views for Google Adsense, and ebay and Amazon affiliates, if you choose to have their ads on your pages.
Squidoo -Squidoo is similar, however their revenue sharing is more complicated. They do it based on your popularity compared to others popularity. It appears that earning is slower here then at other sites of similar nature. But it is fun to make your lenses.
howtodothings.com -How todothings.com offers you a place where you can write how to's and make Google Adsense money. Their system is simple and quick. However you do need to be approved for writing in the categories of your choice. This requires an application and a little bit of time.
Writing with these sites can make you money. Over time that money can grow into a nice monthly sum. Each of these sites provides a way that you can make a passive income. Some require that you write an article every now and again to remain active, however it is well worth the time and can be a great way for you to work from home.
