Entertainment (when used properly) can be a great business full of the ability to create happiness in the world. From movies, music, singing, and dancing they all have the ability to lift the human spirit. When all these things take hold of us they have the ability to make us do noting except celebrate life and all the good things in it. While there are many categories within the entertainment industry to do just that, there is one that is severely underrated....dancing.

I can still remember the first time I fell in love with the movie "Dirty Dancing." I had seen it a couple times before, but when I watched it that one time it changed my whole perspective on thins. This movie had the actors Patrick Swayzee and Jennifer Gray dancing their hearts out as well as falling in love. It is a classic today because of the dancing. When you come out of that movie your heart is soaring and it just makes you feel happy about life and everything about it and, therefore; creates a positive vibration for everything you see that day. That's just from observing dancing. What a difference it would make if we all actually got our bodies moving.

Dancing has been around since no one can remember, just millions and millions of years ago. It begun with a beat and after that it just took over the populations. It is supposed that dancing was meant as a celebration of the Gods who created the lives we have. Since dancing started there have been urges in the human spirit to get up and go. In fact, it is scientifically proven that exercise or any kind of dancing extracts endorphins from the brain and causes bouts of joy.

Why we watch dancing is a whole different story. That light inside of ourselves that is part of the higher conscious is always inside of us guiding us to our higher purpose. When we are dancing we put all of our emotions to the forefront and let them go into the Universe. In that case, when we dance we have the ability to connect with our higher selves and make it physical as well, when we do this we are making our higher selves part of our grounded physical life. The difference is that if we are watching sadness in the dance and we are dwelling on that than we are creating negative vibrations, but if the dance is about happiness, love, all the positive emotions (such as in "Dirty Dancing"), it becomes a great release of positive vibrations (even for the happy audience who is watching it).

Dancing is not only entertaining but also a way to help release all of our joy into the Universe. Now if we can all just visualize as we are dancing than we would have a quick and happy reality. But seriously now, you don't even have to dance personally, pick up a musical at the video store and have yourself a good time. It's just another wonderful way to share in the joy of the Universe.

Here's a delicious recipe to keep those good vibrations up:

"The Dirty Dancing Cream Puffs"*

Ingredients: 1 cup of water, a little confectioners' sugar plus ¼ cup, ½ cup of margarine, ½ tsp of vanilla extract, ¼ tsp of salt, 2 cups of heavy whipping cream, 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 4 eggs whole plus 1 egg yolk slightly beaten, and 2 tbs of non-fat milk.

1) Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.

2) In a saucepan, bring the water, margarine and slat o a boil over medium heat. Add the flour and stir until a smooth ball forms. Remove from the heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Add the 4 eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then continue beating until shiny and smooth.

3) Drop by ¼ cupfuls onto greased with butter flavored cooking spray cookie sheets. Combine the milk and the egg yolk and then brush over the puffs. Bake for about 30 minutes or until they are golden brown. Remove to the wire racks and cut a slit in each so the steam can escape.

4) In a cool mixing bowl, beat the cream just until it thickens. Then add the ¼ cup of confectioner's sugar and vanilla and beat until stiff. Split the cream puffs open and discard the soft dough from the inside. Fill the cream puffs just before serving and refrigerate the leftovers.

5) Happy eating and good vibrations!
