I have always had a love for seafood. I have been to many seafood restaurants in the Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding counties area. In some restaurants I have experienced both the good and bad. However, I can't say quite that for Crab Louis in Sycarmore Square, Midlothian, Virginia.

There, I have only experienced the best of seafood. Their food is absolutely exquisite and their service makes you want to come back for more. For those of you who are seafood lovers in the Richmond and surrounding counties area, I would definitely recommend Crab Louis.

I am a lover for she crab soup and she crab chowder, and I would have to say that Crab Louis' has the best she crap chowder with The Tobacco Company in downtown Richmond coming in closely in second.

When visiting Crab Louis, their service is wonderful. They start you out with a variety of relishes, (bean salad, sweet corn, and saurkraut), sweet breads, I love the Apple Cheddar, and a light salad.

I always order the SAME THING when I go because it is that delicious; a bowl of she crab chowder and Crab Louis unique Seafood Latkes. They are a combination of shrimp, crab meat and lobster formed into one patti served with red pepper honey zest sauce. Delicious.

You should definitely try them out or at least call to hear their menu selection. It's in a great location and reasonably priced (804) 275-2722.
