How to Microwave Bake a Potato |

Does your oven take too long to bake potatoes? Try the microwave! Same results in a fraction of the time.
Difficulty: Easy
Step One
Wash the potato. Do not dry it.
Step Two
Poke holes in the potato with a fork to prevent it from exploding.
Step Three
Wrap the wet potato in two layers of plastic wrap.
Step Four
Put the potato in the microwave for 5 to 8 minutes depending on the size. Denser types of potatoes will take a little longer as well.
Step Five
Let the potato stand 2-3 minutes before removing it from the plastic wrap.
