Delicious Asian fried chicken that is great all year round!! Serves 5-7 people.
  • 5 pounds of chicken wings
  • 1/5 cup of flour
  • 1/3 cup of cornstarch
  • 1/5 cup of sugar or cane sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cloves of garlic (optional)
  • oil for deep frying
  • 1 teaspoon of dry red pepper flakes (optional)
  1. Wash drain chicken wings. Cut the wings apart from the legs. Place legs immediately in a freezer zip lock bag and place in the freezer. Use only the wings.
  2. In large bowl mix all ingredients together including chicken wings. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight for best taste. Bring the chicken wings out of the refrigerator and mix well.
  3. In a large pan use a medium to high heat. Chicken wings should be deep fried for a least 9-11 minutes depending on your stove top. Make sure the inside of the chicken is cooked even though the outside is golden brown in color. Enjoy!!
