These cookies are the most tasty chocolate chip cookies I have ever had (I have had quite a few too).

 

Here is the recipe:

 

Ingredients: 1 cup butter softened, ½ cup butter flavored shortening, ½ cup of vegetable shortening, 2 cups packed light brown sugar, ½ cup sugar, ½ cup of Splenda, 4 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 2 and ¼ cups of all wheat flour, 2 and ¼ cups all purpose flour, 2 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp salt, 2 cups (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips, and 1 cup of chopped pecans.

 

1) In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, shortenings and all sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flours, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (dough will be slightly sticky).

2) Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
