The best way to control your weight is by controlling your mind. If you don't, it is sure to control you! Believe that you are already thin. You can do this, it just takes practice. Yes. It's true! You can create anything you want simply by choosing your thoughts accordingly. So why not choose thoughts of being thin? Now I don't mean to say this is easy, however with practice and repetition it will become easier in time. We are all creatures of habit. We want to be where we feel safe and comfortable, which is exactly where we are. So the hard part is getting out of that safety zone. You will have to work on controlling your thoughts. Most people let their thoughts control them and are not even aware of that!
So, how do you control your thoughts? There are several ways to do this and several books to tell you how. Obviously, I can't list them all for you, but my favorite is by playing a perfectly legitimate trick on your subconscious by telling it your desires as if they are already fact! Say them out loud, with full belief that it is so. Do this repeatedly as much as often. Soon it will become natural for you and your subconscious will consider them to be fact, and will have to make it so... Consider your mind to be a garden. Your positive thoughts will produce beautiful flowers and trees, while the negative ones will only produce more weeds. You are the gardener, which do you prefer?
So my secret to dieting is believing you are already thin, and you have the most perfect metabolism! It allows you to eat whatever you want whenever you want. Now to me, that's comfortable! Maybe lying on the sofa or bed in my comfy clothes eating cookies and milk. There really is no harm in that except for a few crumbs. I actually believe cookies can be good for you unless you're eating an obscene amount of them. Then again, I also believe I can eat whatever I want and I will never put on extra weight. I truly believe this and it is so. I do have trouble finding clothes in a size zero at times, but considering the alternative, I can live with that.
However, most people are convinced if you do that you will gain several unwanted pounds over night! Now there is the real problem...You believe it, therefore your subconscious makes it so! For example, some women who become pregnant immediately begin to picture themselves as fat. It starts on day one when they begin imagining how they will look in a few months time, and those thoughts continue to grow as does their body.
Now the reason no one will tell you this is that it's so controversial. It is extremely hard for most to accept, and I don't blame them. It is a very hard concept to grasp, especially if you're already over weight. But the truth is anyone can do this. If you are going to lose weight, you have to start somewhere. Why not start by believing not only that you will lose weight, but that you already have! And you will lose more everyday until you reached your perfect size.
Post pictures of yourself all throughout your home when you were that size. It will help with your visualizations. Our mind automatically thinks in pictures, so you always want to picture yourself as thin and seeing pictures constantly will just make it easier. If you don't have pictures of yourself, it's O.K. to use someone elses body. Be creative, cut and paste your head to the body you wish to have.
You already know about diet and exercise. This is very important to every human being. You want to eat healthy foods because you love your body. This is not a chore. Your body takes such good care of you and you should want to return the favor. Fruits, vegetables, seafood, pasta, bread; it's all good for you when taken in moderation. I suggest eating lots of little snacks. This way you are always satisfied, and it keeps your metabolism running, so it won't slow down, and then you won't need to restart it. The more it gets used, the better it works!
Then we have exercise! I can't state the importance of this enough. Get plenty of exercise! The more, the better, the key to this is to "Have FUN With It!" Only do what you like to do anyway. Go for a walk, join a gym, there you can swim, use special equipments, meet people, etc. Take classes in karate, yoga, and dance? The list just goes on and on. Maybe play tennis. It's great if you have a friend do this with you, if not it will open you up to meeting more people who do share in these activities. Therefore, you will make new friends.
This brings me to the last part of this great secret. Remain happy by keeping good thoughts, and keeping busy with activities you enjoy doing. By keeping active you are bound to eat less anyway, and those happy thoughts will only create more of them. That's "The Law of Attraction". Whatever you give the most thought to, you are attracting more of it into your life.
Emotions blended with our thoughts helps to manifest them quicker. Love is the most powerful emotion of all. Ever notice when someone falls in love for the first time, they immediately lose weight? Faith is another strong one, as is gratitude. Have faith in yourself, God, and the Universe that you will reach your goal while developing deep feelings of gratitude as if you already have.

8) Learn some basic yoga. The importance of yoga is that it aids in mind , body, and spirit all working together. This is also the key to happiness, and you don't have to do a full routine to achieve this. You can still reap benefits by spending just a few minutes a day...
9) Drink plenty of water! Do not skimp on this one. Not only is water the most vital ingredient of your body, it keeps away hunger, and is also great for your complexion!
10) Watch less television. It is the comercials you want to avoid, and the boredom. If you are watching T.V. just to pass time, try reading a book instead. You will gain much better results by stimulating your mind and spirit while giving your body some well deserved rest.
