Just some simple thai words if you are thinking of visiting Thailand
Thai people will always greet you by saying - Sawadee Krap/kap ( this is from a guy)
Sawadee Ka ( this is from a girl)
thank you - Kap Khoon krap/Ka
How are you? - Sabai dee mai Krap/Ka?
eat - gin
toilet - hong nam
fish balls- luke chin plah
fish - plah
pork - moo
satay - moo ping
water- nam
rice - khao
go - pai
sugar - nam tan
orange juice - nam som
lemon /lime juice - nam manao
do not have - mai mi
do not understand - mai kaw jai
beautiful - suai
one - neng
two - song
three - sam
four - si
five - ha
six - hok
seven - jiet
eight - pet ( low tone)
nine- kou ( high tone)
ten- sip ( low tone)
eleven- sip it
twelve- sip song
( just add a sip in front of the single digit)
Twenty - yi sip
twenty one - yi sip it
twenty two - yi sip song
One Hundred - Neng Roi
One hundred twenty three - neng roi yi sip sam
