Hello Friend,

The title of to-day's post may be a little misleading. I speak NOT of promises others have made to me and broken.......but promises I made to myself and to you. When I started this BLOG,I promised I would do some writing every week, also share some of the items in my private collection, and some of my published work......however......life got in my way and I let us down. Writing is such good therapy....I should do it 24x7.

To-day I will share with you a little poem that has always been one of my favorites....and speaking of favorites...One of my favorite poetry forms is from the Japanese culture and it is called "Haiku Poetry".Haiku usually consists of 17 syllables, which is made up of (3) lines. Lines 1&3 each have(5) syllables, and line 2 has (7) syllables........and not only the mandated number of lines and syllables are required but........it must also have meaning and make sense as a completed thought.........so here it is.....my most favored Sharon Potter-Case Poem:

"Haiku Song"

The winding creek flows
Much like the river of life
Destination unknown
