One night a woman had a dream. She dreaded she was walking along the beach with God. Across the sky flashed scenes from her life. For each scene she noticed two sets of footprints in the same -one belonging to her, and the other to her God. When the last scene had flashed before her, she looked back to the footprints, and noted that many times along the path, there was only one set of footprints in the sand. He also noted that this happened during the lowest and the saddest times in her life. This really bothered her, and she questioned her GOD.

God, you said that once I decided to beleave in you,and walk with you, But I notice that during the most troublesome times of my life,there was only one set of footprints- I don't understand why, when I needed you most, you deserted me." 

And God replied, "my dear sweet child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of most trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you....
