The last eight years have been the best and the worst year for politics. 9-11 did it make anyone feel devided, no the feeling was the same get whoever killed on US soil. I remember racing to get my kids just to see the little faces. Then I remembered my husband was in DC working my heart stopped. I could not get through to him the whole entire day. Pacing back in forth from the front door of our home to the back. Hoping that he would be home any minute and to my great relief he was.

It changed my life some folks did not have the key turned in the door and never would speak to there love one again. Then came from that came the war with Iraq and all of the lives lost. It just seems that from 9-11 opened the door to mass destruction of hope for the future. Here we all stand now regardless of who your choice is for president. History is being made Clinton vs Obama, even if you do not like either. Who can help at least seeing that history in a positive light is being made. Once again the oppurtunity is being given to change the path of where we go from here. The race card does and will always upset me very much.

My vote is not being cast for Clinton or Obama because they are a minority. It would be cast because I believe in the message that they stand for. When going back in time my whole entire family was republican. Some of them still are so we have a divide directly inside of the family unit. But our freedom of speech is why we all are in this country and it is wonderful to have such freedom. This election is about having your voice heard not to say that my choice has not been made! The feeling that I have is that this is a new movement and I am apart of it. Pride in our country for this is history in the making.

Since the civil rights movement this is the next exciting thing in our country to me. Making people think whether your a Republican or a Democrat it is still a movement being felt by one and all. Whether either of the candidates win or lose they opened the door for others to reach for the same goal. The future is waiting on us to put something in the books to read down the road. When I look back and read about women fighting for the right to vote or the civil rights movement for not just Blacks it was a fight for minorities. There was a change made by a few that became a movement it is exciting. I have been waiting my whole life to see something become history in the making. Honestly I think I just found it. No matter who you vote for get out and ROCK THE VOTE!!
