Who has time to govern anymore when there are prostitute to manage, affairs to have, text messages and even bisexual three ways. Most rock stars only wish they were have this much sex.

I often ask myself who has time to be a politician anymore. It must be very hard work passing legislation and attending meeting to try to represent the general public. Even as the major of a city, there are labor disputes, school committees, teacher unions, water and sewage meetings, not to mention police and fire department meeting.

The responsibilities only multiply when someone becomes a governor. At the state level there are not only the responsibilities of a mayor, but now there are highway departments, water departments, state boards of education, tons of legal paperwork and state worker unions.

It totally boggles my mind with all of the work these politicians have to do. I am just a regular full time employee and my wife works full time also. Together we are raising three kids. I am up every morning at 0400 to get myself and my children ready for school. I work until 1630, get home by 1700. I then help my children with homework, work outside and do some papers until I fall asleep at around 2130. Then it all starts over again the next day.

I could never imagine having the busy schedule of a politician. Having a schedule that Elliot Spitzer was able to use to associate himself with not one, but two ‘call-girls’ (prostitute) websites. I can’t imagine having a schedule that allows setting up travel to other states to have meetings with your prostitutes.

I can’t imagine having time like the ex New Jersey Governor, Jim McGreevey to partake in his bisexual three ways (not that I ever would want to) on Friday nights. (http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/17/mcgreevey.trysts/).

There is also the text message scandal with Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick (http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080327/NEWS01/80327071/1003/news). Allegedly Kilpatrick has had time to have an affair with an aid, lied about the relationship and text messages have been retrieved between the two that prove the affair.

It seems I am in the wrong profession. I am a regular working guy. I make good money, but still have trouble making ends meet. I work very hard, with little return.

Politicians seem to be living like Rap stars or 1970 rock stars. They have enough time to have affairs and the tax payer money to squander on their sexual desires (I said it! I bet Spitzer used tax payer money!).

Perhaps if jerks like these politicians were seriously made an example of, politics would become an honorable profession attracting honorable people. If we had honorable people in office, they would concentrate on fixing what is wrong instead of concentrating on their sexual organs or their legal problems!
