As Susan said, as long as it is original we will most likely accept it.
Certain articles require more formatting or more editing before publishing and those may take longer to be approved. If your article is rejected (which I haven't had to do yet) you will receive a message from us saying why it is rejected -- this most likely won't happen though. The more likely scenario is we will ask you to change something or give us more information, so that we may approve it.
We built this site because Adam and I have both gone through the process of submitting articles to some of the other sites (AC, Helium, eHow, etc) and understand that sometimes you only have 200 words to say about toothpaste. As long as you wrote it and aren't plagiarizing another author, I have no problem giving you an avenue to express yourself; in fact, I think it is fantastic and am honored to help share the work.
We really want this to be a place where you can come, learn, educate yourself, express yourself, and share your thoughts with the world. We aren't fans of censorship and we aren't fans of constraining creativity. As long as you aren't breaking any laws... let us read it.
