There is only one way to increase the profits generated by your articles, and that is by increasing their potential to earn revenue. So, how do you increase the earning potential of your articles? Well, that’s exactly what I’m going to cover in this tutorial. I’ve broken it down to three categories: Traffic, Content, and Keywording.
Traffic: First and foremost, your articles need traffic. If no one ever reads them, you will never generate any revenue from them. Look at it this way; the more people who view your articles, the greater the chance of people seeing your ads and clicking on them. There are a lot of ways to boost the traffic your articles receive. Send links to your friends and family, promote them in the forums, and make friends with other writers on the site. Having strong content and relevant keywords are also great ways to boost your traffic.
Content: Writing articles that are both interesting and informative will attract a larger number of readers. If your only goal here is to make money, then I strongly suggest that you focus on writing about popular subjects. If your articles are broad and engaging, you will develop a stronger fan base.
Keywording: Making good use of keywords will not only improve the search results of your articles on this site, but it will also improve the search results of your articles across the entire internet. By using proper keywords, you will ensure that your articles are displayed in search results on search engines like Google and Yahoo, which will exponentially increase the amount of hits your articles receive. This will also improve the relevance of the ads displayed around your articles. More relevant ads = more ad revenue.

Thanks for the advice. I have about 40,000 people reading me now online. It was a shocker. But when the site starting giving me the coinage every month (not enough to buy a house, but enough to buy some groceries!) I realized that the potential here is endless. Then a site gave me my own television site online for an article that won a contest last December, so now I've got video of me and I am promoting a play I've written and I am trying to get produced.
