So, what commercials will be the best this year?  The FedEx commercial, the Pepsi, Doritos or maybe the beer?  A lot of time and even more money will be spent on making these commercials, but what makes a great commercial memorable?

There are several elements need for a great Super Bowl commercial.  A big name star doesn't hurt either! 

• Cute characters:  Talking animals, kids and cartoon characters always grab your attention.  Can they hold it?
• Catchy music:  A jingle that you sing over and over, long after the Super Bowl is what advertisers ultimately seek.
• Clever content:  Is it a witty skit?  A clever play on words? The message needs to delivered in a clear, concise way.  Confusing messages can make a commercial fail in an instant.

But I though this years commericals were not a great as in the past. You figure companys spending $2 millon a minute have better ad writters. Guess they are out on strike too (haha)...
